    A wanted criminal arrested by Haryana police

    Arrested accused was identified as Manveer alias Kala a resident of Surkhpur, District Jhajjar. He was involved in several cases of crime including murder and attempt to murder. One country made pistol recovered from his possession. He was absconding since 13 years.

    1632 bottles of illicit liquor seized

    Continuing its crackdown on illicit liquor smuggling, Haryana Police has seized 1,632 bottles of liquor being illegally transported in a vehicle in Bhiwani district. Police has also arrested one person in this connection. A police team at a blockade near village Devsar signaled the driver of pick-up vehicle to stop for checking. Upon searching, 1632 bottles of illicit liquor were recovered from the vehicle. The driver failed to produce any license required for carrying liquor.

    Peaceful polling for Lok Sabha election 2019

    Lok Sabha election was conducted in a peaceful and incident-free manner due to excellent Police arrangements, decisive intervention and energetic patrolling carried out since early morning across the state. Police has taken all precautionary measures for ensuring peaceful polling due to which voters turned up in large numbers in their respective polling stations to exercise their franchise.

    Total seizure of illegal inducements crossed Rs21.07 crore

    The total seizure of unaccounted money, illicit liquor, drugs and other valuables have already crossed Rs 21.07 crore so far since the election model code of conduct was enforced in the state. More than 3.73 lakh litres of liquor worth over Rs 6.05 crore was seized between March 10 and May 7 in the state. Similarly, the total seizure of drugs/narcotics including heroin, opium, ganja, chura post, smack, charas, sulfa etc. have crossed over Rs 9.34 crore.

    1054 sent behind bars in one month

    A well-planned strategy chalked out by Haryana DGP Mr Manoj Yadava to come down heavily on notorious criminals ahead of Lok Sabha polls become fruitful as the Police has arrested 1054 POs, bail jumpers and hardened criminals during a special month long drive concluded on April 20, 2019. Police has also seized 243 illegal pistols, 324 cartridges, 15 knives and 200 gram gun powder from the possession of arrested accused involved in robbery, loot, burglary, snatching and other heinous crimes.

    DGP reviews poll preparedness

    Haryana Director General of Police, Mr Manoj Yadava held separate meetings with senior Police officers in Gurugram, Rohtak and Rewari districts to review the arrangements being made by them for the smooth conduct of upcoming Parliamentary Elections in the State. Presiding over separate meetings, the DGP directed them to remain extra vigilant and take necessary steps to ensure that the upcoming polls are conducted in peaceful manner.

    A wanted criminal carrying a reward of Rs. 50000 arrested by Haryana police.

    A wanted criminal carrying a reward of Rs 50,000 on his head and involved in henious cases in Haryana has been taken into custody by Thana Ismailabad Police in district Kurukshetra. Accused was identified as Jagtar Singh alias Sardar, a resident of Ismailpur. The accused was wanted since 2015 in connection with a murder case of Murti Devi in district Kurukshetra. Accused was also declared proclaimed offender by the court. Police on April 7, 2017, has declared a reward of Rs50,000 on his arrest

    Over Rs18.43 crore cash, liquor and drugs seized

    Illicit liquor, narcotics, unaccounted money and other inducements worth over Rs 18.43 crore has been seized across the state so far by the Police, flying squads and state surveillance teams, which are strictly monitoring the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct ahead of Lok Sabha polls in the state. Police has been taking strict measures to check the illegal flow of money, liquor and drugs ahead of elections. Elaborate arrangements have been put in place to ensure free and fair election

    Loot mastermind in Police net

    Haryana Police has arrested four persons for looting a truck loaded with iron near village Bithmada, Surewala Chowk, Uklana district Hisar on April 11, 2019. Police has also recovered 3 illegal pistols and 7 cartridges from them. Arrested accused were identified as loot mastermind Mahipal, a resident of Khannori, Sangrur, Sunil alias Bhima of Anndana, Khannori, Rattan Singh of Khannori and Sonu of Dhamtan, Jind. All were arrested with the help of CCTVs footage.

    CIA Panipat seized 722 gm heroin worth Rs 4 crore

    CIA of Haryana Police have seized 722 gram heroin from a car in district Panipat and arrested one person in this connection. The value of seized drug in the international market is estimated Rs 4 crore. The arrested accused is identified as Varun Bhogan of Ludhiana, Punjab. It was revealed that the accused was transporting heroin from Punjab to Delhi for smuggling. A case under NDPS Act has been registered against him.
