    Haryana DGP hands over cheque of Rs 50 lakhs to wife of late HC

    Director General of Police, Haryana, Mr Manoj Yadava handed over a cheque of Rs 50 lakhs as accidental death insurance claim to Rekha, W/o late Head Constable Yashpal, who had laid down his life in the line of duty. He urged the family members to provide best education to the wards of deceased as this will be the real tribute to the departed soul. Police will provide all kind of facilities to them under the welfare schemes of the Department.

     
    Haryana Police makes security arrangements for Kanwar Mela

    Haryana Police has made elaborate security arrangements for smooth conduct of Kanwar Mela-2019 that will commence on July 17 and will continue upto July 30, 2019. All Commissioners of Police and District Superintendents of Police have been directed to ensure smooth Kanwar Yatra by making elaborate law and order arrangements as well as smooth flow of traffic in their respective jurisdiction.

     
    Two gets 10 years jail for kidnapping minors

    The Court of Additional District and Session Judge, Palwal has sentenced three men to 10 years imprisonment after holding them guilty for kidnapping and molestation of two minor sisters. Court also imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on convicted persons. The convicts would have to undergo six months additional imprisonment in case of non payment of fine

     
    Haryana Police cracked abduction case in few hours

    Haryana Police has cracked a kidnapping case in few hours after the arrest of two from Gurugram in which key accused himself plotted his abduction with help of his minor friend and demanded a ransom of Rs 5 crore from his father. Arrested accused identified as Ujjawal, R/o Akbarpur Barota, district Sonipat. After faking his own kidnapping, the boy changed the number plate of his car and had checked into a hotel in Sector-15, Gurugram. The Police recovered and arrested him from the hotel.

     
    Police arrested wanted person in ATM loot case

    Haryana Police has arrested a person hailing from Utawar in Palwal, who is wanted by Madhya Pradesh Police in an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) loot incident. Police has also recovered a country made pistol and live cartridge from his possession. Arrested accused was identified as Lateef alias Landu, a resident of Utawar, Police Station Bahin in district Palwal. He was arrested by Anti Vehicle Theft team following a tip off. Madhya Pradesh Police has announced a reward of Rs 25,000 on his arrest

     
    Heroin worth Rs 50 lakh seized

    Effecting one of the biggest seizure of heroin in Fatehabad, Haryana Police has arrested a drug peddler from Bhuna and recovered 446 gram heroin, 3.200 kg ganja, Rs 11 lakh cash and a currency counting machine from his possession. The value of seized heroin in the international market is around Rs 50 lakh. Arrested accused was identified as Aakash alias Rinku, a resident of Power House, Valmiki Mohalla, Bhuna. He was arrested by a team of crime investigation agency following a tip off.

     
    Haryana Police to launch public awareness drive through social media platforms

    Haryana Police will soon be launching a new public awareness campaign through SMS and social media like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok to educate and alert people against online frauds, cyber crime and other fictitious offers. Police will advise and caution the people to be wary from unsolicited and fictitious offers received through emails, phone calls and text messages.

     
    Man wanted in kidnapping and ransom case arrested

    Haryana Police has arrested a member of Dhani Khera gang who wanted in a case of kidnapping and ransom after a brief chase in district Bhiwani. Police has also recovered two country made pistols, one magazine and 49 live cartridge. Arrested accused identified as Rakesh, a resident of village Sherla, wanted in ransom case involving a trader of Pilani in Rajasthan. Accused was produced before the Court, which sent him in two days Police remand. Further investigation is under progress.

     
    Four gangsters arrested in murder case

    CIA Sonipat has arrested 4 gangsters, involved in a murder incident which took place in district Sonipat on June 24. Police has also recovered 5 country made weapons, 35 live cartridges and 1 magazine from their possession. Arrested accused have been identified as Vikram, R/o Rohtak, Ravinder, R/o Charkhi Dadri, Vikram & Sahil, R/o New Delhi. More than 10 cases of loot, murder, and attempt to murder, dacoity and rape are registered against them in different police stations including Delhi.

     
    Haryana Police deploy teams to ensure people safety during monsoon

    Haryana Police has pre-positioned its personnel who are trained in flood rescue work to face any eventuality and other challenges arising due to potential flood situation during ongoing monsoon season in district Yamunanagar. Two platoons of Indian Reserve Battalion personnel alongwith motor boats and flood rescue equipments have been provided to district Yamunanagar. Both the Police and civil administration are fully prepared to face any kind of situation and to ensure safety of the people.
