    IPS probationers calls on DGP Haryana

    A group of 22 Indian Police Service (IPS) probationers visited Police Headquarters to meet DGP Haryana, Mr Manoj Yadava. DGP gave them important tips on policing and public service and added that they would get ample opportunities in the field to deliver the people, providing justice to the needy and poor. Mr Yadava asked them to adopt professional police practices to ensure better delivery of justice and congratulated the trainee officers for choosing police service as their career.

     
    Car snatchers arrested, vehicle recovered

    After the arrest of four key accused on the charges of snatching and taking away a Mercedes car from a Delhi resident, the Haryana Police have arrested 4 more persons in this case in Hansi. Police have already recovered vehicle which was stolen on June 8, 2019. Accused identified as Ajmer of Durga colony, Rohtak by-pass, Ram Prasad of Mirchpur, Vikas of Durga Colony Jind and Vikas of Bishanpur, Jind. These four have been arrested after their names revealed during interrogation from key accused.

     
    Criminal carrying Rs 50,000 reward arrested

    STF sleuths of Rohtak has arrested a notorious criminal, wanted in murder case and carrying a reward of Rs 50,000 on his head, from district Jhajjar. Arrested accused was identified as Manoj alias Bhando, a native of Ruriawas village in Jhajjar. Arrested accused was taken on police remand by producing in the court.

     
    DGP holds State Level crime review meeting

    The DGP, Haryana, Mr Manoj Yadava presided over a meeting of the District Police Chiefs and other senior Police officers to review the crime situation in the state at HPA Madhuban. He asked the Police officers to adopt result-oriented strategy to prevent crime and deter criminal elements. He directed the officers to curb crime, gangster activities, prevent smuggling of illicit weapons, arrest the absconders, solve pending cases and to adopt zero tolerance to crime against women in the state.

     
    219 boxes of illicit liquor seized

    CIA of Haryana Police in Panipat district has seized 219 boxes of illicit Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) which were being smuggled in a truck. Police has arrested driver of the truck and helper, who have been identified as Sahzad and Kamru, both residents of district Muzzafarnagar in Uttar Pradesh. The seized liquor was being smuggled to Bihar. A case under relevant sections of IPC and Excise Act has been registered against the accused.     More Than 83% HarSamay & CM Window users satisfied with disposal of their complaints

    An impressive 83.17 per cent of complainants across the state are satisfied with faster and real-time redressal of their grievances received at CM window and HarSamay portal of Haryana Police. This was revealed in a state-wide telephonic survey where a random sample of complainants was contacted to ascertain whether they were satisfied with the handling of their complaint. The above 83.17 per cent figure comes out during a feedback taken from districts between April 1 and 30, 2019.

     
    Haryana to get five new Police Stations

    Haryana Government has decided to set up 5 new Police stations by upgrading existing police posts in Ambala Range for strengthening the law & order in the state. Mr Manohar Lal has approved a proposal of Home Department for upgrading 5 Police posts to Police stations in Ambala Range. These Police stations will be established at Gandhi Nagar Yamunanagar, Sector-9 Ambala, Krishna Gate Thanesar, Kurukshetra, City Pehowa Kurkshetra and Sector-17 HUDA, Jagadhri, Yamunanagar.

     
    DGP Haryana conducted inspection of training facilities at Madhuban

    DGP, Mr Manoj Yadava, visited the HPA Madhuban and guided the officers about improvement of training facilities. He also visited HAP, Madhuban and planted a sapling to give a message of environment conservation on World Environment Day. He started visiting various units of Police Academy from 9 am onwards on bicycle in a scorching heat and engaged in inspection work with full energy till noon. He was accompanied by Academy Director Mr Alok Kumar Roy, and other senior officers.

     
    UP man arrested with smack worth Rs 3.45 crore

    Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) staff of Haryana Police has arrested a drug peddler with 3 kg 450 gram smack in Jind district. The market value of confiscated drug is around Rs 3.45 crore. Arrested accused was identified as Pappu, a resident of district Barapanthi in Uttar Pradesh. A case under NDPS Act was registered and further investigations are underway to ascertain details of the contraband.

     
    In safer lane: Accident deaths dropped to 1671 from 1791 – a 6.7 % decline

    As a result of sustained efforts by Haryana Police, road accidents have declined by 7.36 %, road fatalities have declined by 6.70 % & injured person in road accident declined by 10.18 % in first four months period of current year across the State as compared to the that of corresponding period of last year. Maintaining a smooth traffic flow has been among the top priority of the State Police. At the same time, Police is also ensuring that maximum people who violate traffic laws are punished.
